Recently we found out that we were voted one of the best wedding photographers in Ohio by The Knot Magazine readers! The Knot also featured one of our weddings, Abby + Dustin, in their most recent issue. Thanks to all who voted for us. We are honored and so excited about this happy start to a new year!

Michele and Kevin's beautiful wedding took place at St. Joseph's Cathedral with the reception at The Westin. There were so many fun details at this wedding. Starting with Michele's shoes with these adorable flowers on them, might be the cutest wedding shoes I've seen...

Michele's mother had this necklace specially made for Michele for her wedding day.

It's always fun to see wedding photos of the bride & groom's parents and grandparents, but especially fun when they are hanging from tree branches with little birds perched on them!

Michele and Kevin included some of the rich traditions of Michele's family's Indonesian culture. The traditional Chinese tea ceremony is a way the bride & groom honor their elders on the wedding day.  

This Balinese dancer was so intriguing...

Some people are so kind, so appreciative, so thankful for every little thing and every person around them.... Aimee and Ryan are one of those couples.

Emilie Duncan was their amazing event planner. Emilie was so involved with every detail of this beautiful wedding. It was obvious she had become part of the family to them. Very sweet! The wedding was at St. Mary's church and reception at New Albany Country Club.

Jenny at Seedlings made the stylish invitations, menus, etc...

This is my favorite shot of the day (below). I love the look in Aimee's eyes, the way Ryan is looking at her, and how at ease they are in the moment....

Recently I had the pleasure of photographing beautiful MelissaRoshan, who is a model and wonderful make-up artist. The camera loves her and of course her make-up is always flawless! Here are a few of my favorites from our session...

Nine years ago today I became an aunt for the first time, and every day has been sweeter since. My niece Olivia is not only an award winning film maker (at age 8!), but more importantly she is so full of love and joy. Her excitement for life radiates through her. We are so blessed to have Olivia in our lives. We LOVE YOU LOVE YOU LOVE YOU Olivia! :)

 

I always love photographing high school seniors. It's such a time of change with so much excitement about what is just around the corner. I was especially happy about photographing Olivia on her family's property. And elated when I found out there were hay bales, farm cats, and cows!

These cows were very interested in our photo session, they did not want to model for us though. They ran away right after I snapped this photo.

Olivia's dad made this swing for her and her two sisters. So sweet!

I love Olivia's freckles!

The little farm cat in the photo on the right was sooo determined to part of our shoot... and he made the cut!

This little doll was so much fun to photograph! I asked Miyah if she watches America's Next Top Model because she posed like a super model. She said she does watch it and then gave me this next pose...

So then I had her show me her runway walk...

So cute! She had me cracking up the whole time!

I love photographing children because I've learned some of the biggest personalities come in small packages. Miyah is a perfect example of this! Thanks Miyah!!

 

 

After hearing they met because Jeremy asked Tami to be an actress in one of his movies, I knew I would love this wedding! As expected all of their details were amazing, dramatic, and beautiful. Here are a few of my favorites...

Wedding fever has kept me away from the blog! Here are 3 of my favorites so far from Tami & Jeremy's fairytale wedding at the Franklin Park Conservatory. The only thing more beautiful than her dress was the way Tami moved in it.
